Do i have to beat behomoth to get dragon soul?

Ive been through like 30 attempts at this thing in a wide variety of roles. We often get to stage 4 but someone always dies to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ last meteor. I’ve managed to make all the armor and glaive on my own. But for the life of me i cannot find the dragon soul kinsect. I read somewhere thst i gotta kill him to get it. Is it true? Is there a way around this?

The kinsect is a reward for beating the special assignment behemoth, along with some other stuff. No, there is no way around it.

Most of the time it was disconnection issue for me .

If you have trouble killing it , how about being a healer and let other kill it ?

I might give that i try. I have me never healed in this game before. Ill have to check all the decorations and stuff to see if i can make a build.

Honestly what I end up doing is talking to people who seem to know what they are doing. Then I create a room.

I've had consistent luck with this since we know each other far better and will.often cruise though after that failed first random pug.

Or join a Hub and fo the same thing.

Tell them you hide from the red light, not from the boss when meteor comes.

fight near fallen comets to be prapared for cover from ecliptic meteor
or learn final fantasy jump timing

If you're fast enough you can try unplugging your internet on last meteor so you go offline in safety while all the others go away.

That's why people are suggesting you to unplug the ethernet cable at the last EM so that the other players can't cart.
