Why the hell no one can hear me?

I have voice chat enabled, I can hear every player and my mic works in any type of software (Discord, Steam, Vocaroo, other games, etc.) but for some BLOODY REASON it doesn't work on MHW. I see the icon there showing that I'm speaking, however, NO ONE EVER LISTENS TO IT.

It's not a case of people not responding or paying attention, even with friends, I've tested it multiple times, it simply doesn't work. I'm going crazy here, this is pissing me off so much! How the F am I supposed to make this work?

Probably people ignoring you. I've found that people with a mic don't respond to anything anyone says. Get a lot of little kids screaming, cuss, using racial slurs, and a bunch of other stuff or just blaring music into the mic.

Have you used the mic recently successfully with those programs? I know my mic has a sneaky mute button that I bump occasionally

Totally getting the same issue as well. I have two friends that I occasionally hunt with and they never hear me talk despite the mic icon flashing.

it sucks because you cant just tell everyone to get in your Discord

I work with my mic 8 hours a day. It is working just fine and there's no mute button

For me, all other players get drowned out by the game's sounds. And even by the music, even though I have music set to 60%.

it hapens that when you disable voice chat in the options, you cant hear other players mics. so, literally no one that did it will hear you.

I spent 700 + hours in MHW mp and i never heard another player voice during my hunts. Literally everyone communicating via chat, shoutouts and emotes. Dont even bother with the mic in this game unless your playing with your friends and using something like discord.

Voice chat was the first option I disabled when I got into the game.

Only using Discord with friends.

I'm guessing a lot of players does the same thing too since MHW doesn't have a Push-to-talk option, and having to resort to manually muting each individual annoying player gets old fast.

the only time i heard voice chat was from day one of game release

i remember voice chat was so small on day 1. never used it again

very simple, they turned off their voice chat but never turned off their mics.........which is why i turned my VC and mic :p
