Training area

Anyone else here wish that like mh4u there was a monster in the training area to actually practice your weapons not a pole that doesnt react... Like I would love for an option to either have the anjanath or great jagras when I enter training area.

They should have a large log laying down on the ground so it's easier to hit, and the ability to customize it to the monster you want to fight. For example, it could be the length of a Great Jagras, and covered in a Jagras pelt so it takes the enhanced damage/status that a normal GJ would take.

I think our training area is fine, although I wish we had the abilty to customize it slightly.

If you're looking to fight monsters in a small area. You can always capture one and hop into the arena instead.

i train by bringing the weapon into an actual fight and see if me or the monster walks away.

I used expeditions for stuff like that. Only 1 loading screen instead of freaking 2. Well.. not like it's an issue here.. but still.

In the end.. yeah I agree.. would be neat. Especially here it would make so much sense. We have useless rotating arena quests.. why not letting us costumize them for weapon/combo practice ?

Only capcom knows.

Maybe like a swinging long, so you can practice blocking, forsight slash, evasion mantle, etc.

I also wish there was a proper means to hurt yourself so you could play with heroics/latent power/resentment.

Also, being about to get to and from from the map and chain lift would be delightful

worst part about expedition is that literally every late game content isn't available to be trained in expeditions.
Dragon elders never appear in expeditions

You can launch their optional quests and literally do the same.
