but its your fault not using earplugs lvl 5 . even against behemoth is worthy
Yes on PS4 where people have got to know his attack pattens nearly perfect and have better weapons than what we do have currently this wouldn't of been 1st week either it would of taken a good chunk of time to learn everything and get it down
trying it co-op mostly with sos and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people suck absolute dogballs
hes not hard its just like any mmoboss fight has mechanics and 35 mins to weave through these mechanics and deal damage
from the 11 sos attemps ive had today people do not know how to fight this boss it seems
All day I've seen hunters steal my mount then immediately knock down Behemoth, shield hunters tanking without Guard 5+Guard Up, and Cluster users knocking me out of the air.
I'm having a great time.
mfw not kicking a cluster bomber when no one else is cluster bombing.
I know the feeling. Some days ago I created a thread about AT Vaal Hazak and how was frustrating/annoying. Strangely the "git gud" army were only about 10 ppl in 180+ posts.
About behemoth, the only problem i have are its extremely broken hitboxes. But that's a general game problem, not its exclusive.
Whoa boy, and some of those hit boxes are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, Cut his tail off... Most monsters, you cut their tail off and the threat of the tail swipe is reduced... Behemoth keeps his long hit box on his tail swipe in spite of it becoming a stub when you cut it off... thats the only thing i hate about the fight.
Also Behe isnt random, he does all this ♥♥♥♥ in FF14
You dont need the most op gear to beat him, just make sure your defense is over 450 minumum.
Solo'd him once, it was hell and i did it with 2 minutes left on the clock.
Did it with friends, honestly you should be doing this with people you can communicate with, and we coordinated and had him done in 15. Had someone as a healer, 2 dps and me as a Tank using the ROCKET POWERED GREAT SWORD... *ahem* Most people forget you can block with great swords. make sure to get feline insurance for the free safety kart. Dont go the meals that instantlygive 50/50 on hp and stam. go for the meals that give you defense up L. Max hp/ stamina can be taken care of via max potion and rations. This fight is a Raid in FF14 and as such its treated with raid mechanics here. Everything he does is 1 to 1 what he does in FF14.
When he's casting tornados, either Call out your gonna flash, or lead the tornado to the edges of the room, dont let them spawn anywhere else. when he's dropping a comet, make sure its places in a spot that is easy to get to, as well as not beign in Behe's line of "get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ zone". Spread them out so no matter what everyone is in "Oh ♥♥♥♥ take cover" distance. Remeber in Phase one try to get him under the rocks so you can drop them on him, it speeds up phase 1. Phase 1 ends when he runs away.
If you want to feel cheeky, dont run into the room where he runs off to, tha twill start phase two. instead, use this time to restock with healings and stuff, carry farcasters with you.
Before heading into phase two, you can make sure everyone is wearing ghile mantles, this will make sure you can run into phase 2 without it triggering. you can take this time to place a ♥♥♥♥ ton of bombs under him and blow them up for free massive damage.
If you happen to mount him, dont be so quick to make him fall. just stay on him, as while your on him, he cant cast or attack allowing your team to freely damage him. Have your two dps/ tank just beat on him, while your support who should have lvl 5 wide range uses items to restore stamina so you can stay on him longer. Once again, once he starts placing comets everywhere, be mindful that his ecliptic meteor is coming. Once he drops it, he starts phase 3 and either A: Runs to the fire area (God help you) Or B: the crystal area, which... since its a smaller area to deal with him in.... (God help you)
If he happens to gore you, (Bull charges you with horns) He will follow up with his grab which causes bleeding. make sure you have your flash pods equiped as flashing him after he grabs you will make you get up faster. Use Astera jerky to heal bleeding as he will go after bleeding hunters.
Repeat while avoiding attacks (God help you) until he drops comets again, and again, prepare for ecliptic meteor. Once that happens you enter phase 4 and repeat till he kills himself ith ecliptic meteor.
This fight is a Raid...
Its based on FF14 Behemoth Raid mechanics from the Crystal Tower scenerio...
Hell theres a really funny video on the do's and donts of this fight.
Thats how i learned to fight him...
also dont fight him solo unless you really have the skill to do it.
I did it once just to see if i could, i never want to do it alone again.
This is a fight that requires a lot of communication and practice, you cant just run up and beat on it till it dies like every other monster.
WE got everything this monster does based on its worlds mechanics... you should see what rahtalos does to people in FF14. It aint pretty.
We all got the short end of the stick, doesnt matter what world you came from.
