Try restarting steam if it doesn't ask to update the game.

THE CORRECT TIME TO JUMP

is when its just less than one meteor width away from the ground. glowing bright red, meteor about to land, thats when you jump, no later, no sooner. if there is one meteor width or more from the ground and you jump, you get hit by the tail of the animation. if you jump when its closer to the ground and you run the risk of dieing while you're jumping into the air.

When he stands up and call the ecliptic meteor, u will notice he will move up a bit and then the whole body slam down. When he starts to slam down, that is the time to trigger the jump.
But due to server lag, etc the jump is not 100%. Only use it as last resort.

Your character also does a shudder when meteor is about to land so jump after the shudder. Hit up youtube for some timings on the jump to get a better visual.

I normally take the "run and hide and pee your pants" approach, but ive heard that once it fully leaves the portal is normally a good time

Best time is when he flinches you during thesummoning of the meteor.

I'm almost 100% consistent with the jump evade. I only miss it if im not focused or if i can't see behemoth or if i'm with a lag fest party. A good way to train is to attempt it when you are behind a comet if you got it right you will jump directly on behemoth face.

Check YouTube.

There's three or four really good videos that break it down step by step on when to use the emote.

I wonder if it is time based? If so, maybe we can take a point and count from there.

It's a small window of time.

It's right between, as the meteor exist the whirlpool of death and a second or two after Behemoth start dropping his front paws.

Honestly if you arent prepared for it you arent going to catch that window of time.

----

One guide recommended getting behind the comet and practicing the tomeing from there.

That way if you are late still safe and well you get it right.

If you are early well no-one can help you.
