What do you think about it ?

It's a burst combo build,very solid for survavibility. DPS is done with the combo.

Probably best normal gunlance in the game. I use it with Sleep though. Try it with sleep, totally worth it.

If you want it full DPS you could try it with Peak Performance and Earplugs. That's how I use my Rathian normal gunlance.

Since you're using the waist only for one level of health boost, you might replace it with Nerg coil and replace the 3 speed sharpening decos with 2 attack boost + 1 health boost (or with Odo coil to get 4 levels of crit eye if you don't have the 2nd attack deco).

Normal shelling uses a lot of the melee attacks for it's rotation, so attack boost 4 is pretty useful.
I think you should try to fit in attack 4 and crit boost 3 instead of health and speed sharpening, but idk if that is possible with what armor we have currently

To be honest I don't use whetfish either because I don't want to fish for them, Speed Sharpening is ok, you lose some DPS but whatever. You can also eat for speed sharpening if you want. I do that all the time with gunlances. What is important and you don't have is some kind of damage boost. Go with peak performance if you don't want to use too many slots for attack. Also, if you use the sleep in the gunlance you won't even need speed sharpening because you can do it when the monster is sleep. In that case if you want you can add more attack or bombardier for deadly sleep bomb.
