Why does one have to set party size before EVERY quest???
Trying to play the game solo and in a private session, why does one have to set amount of players before every quest? It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying have to set it to 1 every time even though the game session is private and you want to have a singleplayer experience.

Why are the devs so incapable of implementing a proper offline/singleplayer mode when so many gamers are asking for it?

It requires just one more button press to skip that stage.

I do get it and it has nothing do with being simple but my point is even if I dont have to set it every time, the window shouldn't even pop up.
I dont care if its effectively singleplayer, when I start a private session that means I want to be PRIVATE, no SOS, no help, no friends joining my hunts and I don't want to constantly be reminded of the multiplayer aspect by some stupif windows popping up.

Yeah, how dare the developers think about people other than you?

Just because YOU use private sessions to solo doesn't mean that's what everyone else is using them for.
I want to live but it's annoying to breathing
Few things are infinite, human stupidity being one of them.

Your still going? You were already told what you are doing is redundant if you are set to private. At this point the thread is done bud.

When setting up a session, you can decide to make it public or private. If it is set to private, nobody may join your session without an invite. When in a hunt, the only way players will see your hunt is if they are in your session, or if you send a SOS. With the ability to set how many players may join in a hunt, you can control how many other hunters may join you so you can keep unwanted numbers out if you're running with friends.

With this system, you allow players to control if they want people in their sessions or not, allow them to control if they want assistance in every individual hunt or not, and how much assistance they want. The game is effectively single-player unless the player makes a concience decision to allow otherwise; a flexible system that offers all options at all times.

In other words, the company DID implement a proper single-player mode. You're literally just too simple to know it. :steammocking:

Just something we have to put up with I guess. Could be changed in the next game idk. I get it just like having to manually leave group every round of Warframe. It's an unfortunate flaw in the design, but just the way it is.

Marijuana may or may not increase my acceptance of flawed mechanics.
It doesn't matter if you set 1 or 4, the difficulty won't adjust until at least 2 persons are in quest.
Can I still use "kek" in late 2018?

Praise Kek.
Start Steam in offline mode, and it is the "solo" experience you want.

If you are online, you have to host a lobby. Game does not read your mind and know whether you want to invite your friends to your lobby, or whether people will join your lobby because you post your lobby number on Twitter and say "come play with me".

Setting party size means that the game wants to know how many people will be allowed to hot-join your quest.

I do agree it is a little bit annoying that the game does not memorize my choice, but since I do not expect anyone to join my lobby, I just go with the default "4", as it is identical to "1" in this case. Just one more left click and one more space button at the mission startup screen, nothing outraging.
private =/= alone, a private gathering has more then you in it, it has only the people you are inviting. IE you still need to set the number, play offline if you don't wanna worry about it.
how long can he keep you responding ?
Yeah its time to stop. The person doesnot even own the game. Going to assume he refunded it because of said tiny gripe. Looks like hes just going to go back to Dead by daylight. Nothing was lost.

Holy ♥♥♥♥. Enough internet for today.
So much salt in this thread. What's wrong with wishing the game was leaner? If you had to click twice to reload, everyone would have pitchforks.
