help ! difference between effective raw/ true raw ?

which one i take to bench my build ? who's better ? i got a build with 422 effective / 232 raw and the other one 397 effective/ 233 raw

True raw is the damage value your weapon uses for calculating damage. Effective raw is your average damage over time. For a benchmark, effective raw is what you want to use.

i got the attack 760 and the true raw 232 (then effective) so true raw is just a path to obtain the real dmg ?

Effective raw is your true raw multiplied by your affinity, your sharpness/bowgun mod modifier and your crit modifier, which gives you your average damage output at any given time (not over time).
Example: if two weapons have the same true raw but one of them has 20% more affinity, then that weapon will have a higher effective raw because it will score more crits.
You should therefore disregard true raw and only consider effective raw.
