Hello everyone,

Let's gather some PC Speed runs together

post your videos of your speed runs

Some simple rules (WIP)
1. time attack rules are not required but please say if it is or isnt. Time Attack translated to english[mhw.wiki-db.com]
2. Please stick to optional quests and events. bonus points for using bazel as air support
3. obviously dont cheat (everything you do has to be possible under normal circumstances for any player with your equipment and or palico)
4. dont use assignemnts, special assignments or investigations

I guess the triple elder is fun to speed run for. Too bad they don't have optional quest for all the monster or atleast the Elder dragon

triple elder speed run might need to be in category 15 cuz there may be some meta in switching to different weapons for each one

yea mh wiki TA didn't approved any TA from PC users, prolly because of hack and cheats.

but please do stick to the TA rules that community approved.

investigations have alot of variability

optional + events seem the safest way

can i also suggest ban ledge hopping? like maximum 2 consecutive ledge atck or something?

I don't really get why "Ledge hopping" should be banned; the point of a speedrun/time attack is to get the fastest time possible. You should be able to use any trick on your disposition to achieve that (of course not hacking).

I agree that most of the TA rules should be followed. I don't agree with banning mantles. I do agree with banning boosters and skills like feyline heroics etc. Only mantle that give any advantage is rocksteady, as you can just tank everything. other than that, you still have to play as well as SoloTA with the other mantles.

because i think the essence of the speedrun is "juggle"the monster with your skill, meanwhile ledge hopping just spamming one button over and over again, also its boring to watch. try nergi with bow wallrun, wont even take 1 min to complete.
its just my opinion tho, no offence, final word on the ts anyway

yea sure buddy, it's up to you to use any method to run your TA.
but then again, it won't count as community approved TA.
so if anything else out of wiki rules is just considered as pratices.

we can refer to that if you want but id still like to have the "anything goes" speed runs as well as they are still fun to watch. we can separate each weapon top/bottom into TA rules runs and anything goes runs
