One shotted ?

Im new to mh, i just finish 2nd encounter with zora mgdros. But now every big monster i do kinda oneshot me, they didnt before, i have 140 armor.
I used to do tobikadashi alone, but now i cant...
Are now all the monsters harder ? I dont understand :/ (sorry for bad english)

If you exceed further into the game, monsters get harder, so it's best is to grind stuff first before proceeding.

But, i cant grind if i got oneshotted so easily...tobi isnt that hard... even in group, i cant really fight, because i could make my team lose

If you need a baseline for high rank, go to high rank expeditions and farm mining ores and bones to make high rank bone or high rank alloy. Or farm low rank rathalos and upgrade it a few times until you reach high rank rathalos and replace with HR version.

Either you could let your team fight for you or you'll just fight the same monster over and over until you're fully equipped.

Second Zorah fight is the end of low rank I think. Yes that basically means you're now fighting high rank monsters which deal more damage, have more health, give better materials, some monsters are exclusive to high rank ... I would say that the fights themselves change (in previous games they gained new attacks on high rank and G rank) but I honestly couldn't see the monsters do anything new ...

The problem is that im getting oneshotted by the same monsters than low rank. This is not like pink rathian or tempered monsters..

I guess you'll have to upgrade your armor, you only had 140 which is pretty low

There are High Rank versions of all the monsters you fought in Low Rank. Not Tempered, not a subspecies. The first story quest you get after the second Zorah Magdaros fight will be against a High Rank Pukei-Pukei. Not a Tempered one, a High Rank one.

There are basically three tiers of Monster: Low Rank, High Rank, Tempered. Not every monster is in all three categories but this is a rating separate from subspecies. So there's a Low Rank, High Rank, and Tempered version of a Rathian, but Pink Rathian only appears as a High Rank or Tempered Monster.

get a decent low rank armor, upgrade it to the max, then you'll be able to handle high rank quests (the first monsters) farm these to make one of the first high rank armor and that's how you progress

Low Rank Anjanath =/= High Rank Anjanath

uhm, well my armor combined is 450-500, so i think you just reached the HR of the game.

if thats the case, try to slay those that you've gotten used to in Low Rank, like jyurotadus or barroth and farm their armor or weapon.

it'll get you started from there onward
