Since SA uses tons of sharpness very quickly I would argue... styx? I wouldnt bother with the others.

Styx for tons of white sharpness.

Styx is pretty awesome for MOST all the relevant lunastra weapons xD

Styx can match the DPS of an optimized Taroth Axe Horn, but relies heavily on Peak Perf/Agitator, and such builds can be gem heavy, VERY gem heavy. I have a 98% affinity build with Crit Boost 3 on it and Peak Perf 3. The build is just less than 10 points shy in terms of final true attack compared to Taroth Axe Horn, but comes with the QOL of rarely sharpening and Blast procs. Coupled with Evasion and Vitality, its easy to maintain Peak Perf 3 on Styx SA with its mobility moves and unmatched agressiveness with health augment

Dont bother with Hasten Recovery. From what Ive read in reddit, Hasten Recovery works differently for each weapon. Basically the faster the weapon, more hits is required to activate it. SA is a pretty spammy weapon, you get the idea.

Oh wow, I didn't know about the Hasten Recovery part. Better switch my augments then.

Here are the top 3 dps options you can build with Styx atm, with sharpness maintenance ofc:

set 1: Agitator + protective polsih

https://honeyhunterworld.com/mhwb/?664,84,99,78,101,100,81,health,0,0,16,13,0,5,5,0,75,5,0,5,0,0,90,16,0,5,5,0,2

Set 2: Peak Performance + Handicraft lvl3

https://honeyhunterworld.com/mhwb/?664,84,103,84,101,100,65,health,0,0,16,16,0,5,5,0,5,5,5,5,30,30,90,16,0,30,30,0,3

Set 3: Agitator 2, Peak Performance 3 & Protective Polish

https://honeyhunterworld.com/mhwb/?664,95,103,78,101,99,83,health,0,0,16,16,0,75,0,0,5,5,5,5,0,0,90,57,0,16,5,0,2

Set 3 has highest dps but relies on both peak and agitator to be active.

My personal favorite is set 2 cuz it comes with handicraft 3, which just so happens to be favorable trade off from using protective polish.

P.S. all of the sets above are horrible to use against lunastra.

Styx with health augment does exactly the same thing as health recovery, but every hit instead of every 5-6 hits, and you'll get very long sharpness to boot.
