Like I said before Frontier makes clear that to be an ED you have to posses a special kind of blood (that's the reason why Raviente isn't one of them) and that tree confirms how Kirin and all the other EDs are related... somehow.
Strange and irrealistic? yes but we are talking about Monster Hunter, a universe where a monkey that can go super sayan is related to a weak honey bear and some kind of snow rabbit.
Welllll Just because something flies through air doesn't mean something that fly through sand(Or dirt)
But true Kirin and Lunastra and Teostra are the only mamal like Elder dragons.
Elder dragons are NOT actual dragons(however cathegory includes these too), anything that doesn't suit any other category and/or has a direct impact on elements(such as Kirins ability to invoke storms) is labeled as elder dragon.
thats why kirin is an elder
why elder dragon, simpe. his power become so big that it can bring calamity
Raising awareness of core series and all that stuff :c
Not just any necro, it's a vintage winner thread.
we still humpin this corpse?
Winner was and is correct. The primary classifications of large monsters per the field guide are wyvern, dragon, beast and relict. A unicorn is quite clearly a beast.
