I already got this answer once but i'd like to understand something so i can make better build myself.
Why not using lunastra legs and head and finding a replacement for rath helm in one of the remaining parts?
Since those pieces gives the best skills for bow along the 2 parts bonus i don't get why i should use parts that gives weaponsmith skill that is totally useless for bows alongside less decorations slots.
Ty if you can explain me.

thunder and water element will improve again aft at kirin, the rest stay as it is
lunastra 2 set bonus is nice but not mandatory
i'll list the bow skill on the priority order
-critical element
-constitution 3
-weakness exploit
-elemental attack up
-bow charge plus
-spread/ normal shot up
-crit eye
-crit boost/ stamina cap up
Simply put evade extender is not the best skill for a bow. Bow i-frames are generous and what can't be dodged by distance with a dash can usually be dodged by rolling, so more experienced players will opt for higher damage skills and position better to avoid attacks.
Since the other rathalos slots are situational to useless, with things like the Rath Soul beta waist carrying windproof 2, the arms carrying Fire Res or Focus and the legs carrying jump master or focus. None of this does anything for elemental bow. The Rath Beta waist is good for a fire bow build because it carries fire attack, and the rath soul head and rath beta chest carry universal skills like weakness exploit and crit boost, with the rath soul beta chest carrying free element for hidden element weapons like Arrow Thunder.
*Except for the reminder that Kulve didn t drop me the thunder bow out of ALL weapons. ( i guess i got all versions of all weapons but that bow and i only use bows :( ).
