Bristles for All
Why in the god's name would anyone developing this game thought it is a good idea to put 1:10000 RNG based achivement into the game?

How long did it take for you to find that damn bird?
Nope Jan 28, 2019 @ 9:37am
Eventually you will catch them
Just like how I got my first king Merlin and great size king Merlin at same time
Also like when I found I emerald helmcrab and to lose it because bagel push me 3 inch away the moment I threw the nest, still hurt as hell :(

in hunts keep your net equipped when you arent fighting the monster.

ive caught these birds an extra 7 times by just randomly coming across them (they have a distinct chirp) when chasing the monster to another zone or when searching for the monster.

they are just slow enough that if you are already prepared you can catch them before they reach their escape bush.

on console i caught the bristle crake before the downey. downey is honestly the worst of em, sure it spawns many but randomly anywhere on the maps they spawn on.

Bristly Crake can be easily trapped in the Vale, if you go to where Mosswine spawns near the central camp (as long as Mosswine spawns). I just checked it every time I had a hunt nearby, and quickly found it.

for specifically bristles i would suggest hunting for it during a vaal investigation. all you need to invest is one mantle slot for ghillie which isnt much and you lose no time for the hunt because vaal takes so long to get to stage one from his pool.

you run left instead of straight to vaal and collect all the materials and the cat while you are there and you profit per trip with flash pods, mandra shroom, and devil blight. its win win

lol see? xD

but yeah when hunting for the endemic life this is my advice. complete investigations in the area they spawn in, return to camp rather than base, and search for that life each and every time you load into the map. it might not be the 100% grind method, but it definently keeps you productive in other areas such as wyvern gem and material farming. maybe even deco farming if your doing tempereds.
