Try tranq bombing her twice, then trapping her. It should capture her instantaneously.
Some monsters like Devijho break the trap earlier than normal and attack while trapped. Other reason probably is to make sure that it will be captured and not break the trap before they can use tranq bomb
- Tranq effect lasts longer than a monster being caught in a trap, if you're dealing with multiple monsters, this is useful because maybe Bazel is sitting there screaming every 2 seconds and had you laid a trap down first he may have made you waste time between tranqs and the monster could have broken out by the time you recovered from the roars. You have more leeway if you tranq first.
- Again on the difference in effect time, if you have a situation where you misread the tells or they were inaccurate and the monster isn't quite ready: if you trap and then 2x tranq and THEN find out the monster needed a couple more hits, throwing down the tranqs already bit into some of your trap time. Compare that to tranq first and now cap, if the hunt doesn't immediately end you have the full duration of the trap to beat the hell out of it and put it over the threshold.
But I'm some similar small benefits exist for trapping first, like making sure you don't miss your tranqs. Anyway, if you have a way that works, I wouldn't worry about it.
EDIT: Ninja'd. Twice. Oh well.
