Any tips for soloing extreme behemoth??

Been praticing speed running solo him for days but i cant defeat him with no faints (except for the ones i did it to myself to activate fortify).

Basically this .. I did it yesterday and that’s all .. I donno about other weapons .. I use bow and I passed phase 3 without EM .. so my damage is enough even in solo .

And if u soloed exbehe , u don’t need to ask for tips here . Just git gud urself .

the problem is i am using longsword. And it is very hard to know when it is the right time to use helm breaker. Cause if i do, the ♥♥♥♥ just body slam and killed me.

You're probably better off not doing helm breaker until you have like a 10 second window really.

I been working on it as well, should hopefully have it completed in the next few days.

As far as weapons are considered I think bow is the only option. Lance may be viable and also LS. As for all other weapons I wouldn't even try them as most the record times are just under the 30 minute time limit.

Biggest help to me was studying this 16 minute TA run. You'll be able to replicate his rythm and take notes on his positioning. He is always in front of the monster.

Not dying is one concern but more important is time. He has about 47,000 HP which is around 15k more than normal Behemoth. I use the LiveSplit overlay timer to keep track of my times entering each area. My goal is to get to area 4 by 20 minutes.

As benchmarks to see if your doing enough damage to complete the quest here are the times for the solo record TA run. These times are taken as soon as Behemoth leaves the area for next.

Area 1.) 0:00 - 3:40 A1 Time = 3:40

Area 2.) 3:40 - 6:57 A2 Time = 3:17

Area 3.) 6:57 - 10:50 A3 Time = 3:53

Area 4.) 10:50 - 16:36 A4 Time = 5:46

Also don't take the palico on this one solo. This way Behemoth will only cast one meteor allowing you to get into a fluid rythm around dodging his attacks. It's also much easier to keep him in place.

Did it with LS. Its the easiest wep cause of foresight slash and also learn to program yourself with emoting successfully everytime he does meteor.

Just poke hime with triangle and Circle till he does something and parry. Your palico helps with Helm breaker when he gets aggro. Safest time to helm breaker is when he cast meteor(when you have enmity) and the move where he summons lava tremors on the ground. Just roll twice out of it or parry then do the move.

Also Evade Extender helps and Cycle through your mantles every phase.
I did it with evasion Mantle on first, Rocksteady on 2 and Temporal on 3. On 4 pray and bring mega bombs it helps... Good Luck!

Also if you are playing super safe expect to fail the DPS test at 3rd phase. Thats why you have to master the emote every ecliptic meteor...
