I meant unlocking high rank stuff someone told me it starts with lvl 6 quests
I still have handful of 6* quests but i'm in no hurry to hunt any of those since i already got what i deemed best for now.
Main point is - unlock new things - then backtrack if you need to, it's not like those quest are gonna run away
if you're new to the game, its better to learn all of the necessary mechanics first in the low rank
if you're old to the game, by all means do it
However after lowrank you'll replay a lot of the content, so I'd advise to not burn yourself out over lowrank stuff. But rushing is not necessary.
2. Decide what weapon trees of chosen weapons you'd like to use.
3. Farm monster parts to make those weapons.
4. Do optional quests that unlock Mantles and kitchen ingredients.
5. Do Deliveries - farm monsters - to make more camps on all maps, it will be useful in future.

Suggested Weapons and Armor for those weapons

You dont need high rank armor right away... Just enjoy the game, take your time and explore.
That said I wouldn't make too many pieces of LR armor. I'd stick to one set and level it up as much as you can. Once you hit HR you can craft as many sets as you think make sense. The HR sets will last longer (though you always want to be mindful of your resources ofc)
