As is Mushroomancer remains a skill best used on yourself, since the other options aren't worth combining with Wide-Range, and bringing mushrooms + potions along with your buffs is counter productive to skill efficiency / min-maxing as well.
You bring Mandragoras + Mushroomancer 3, or you bring Wide-Range, Recovery Up and Mega Potions etc. Bringing both is just going to lead to you juggling items way too much, and not focusing on the monster you're fighting. The best Wide-Range users don't aim to heal others in the entirety, they just provide that extra bonus of healing others when they heal themselves in combat, which goes a long way. Everyone is entirely capable of keeping themselves stocked up, they don't need a babysitter, after all.
There's nothing like a group of Wide-Range 5's fighting some big horrible thing, the healing just rolling in as everyone heals only when they are hurt, magically healing the whole group pretty much constantly too. The monster can't do anything at that point.
Coupled with Recovery Up and Health Boost if you want to be super dirty on top of that lol.
