exactly ^^ some people like what i don't, and i like things other people don't, so i'm glad there is a lot of variety in armor to please almost everyone
just a shame we can't use appearances of one armor onto the stats of another xD
As far as I know, there's no transfering stuff between characters, no NG+ or "inheritance" or anything like that. Starting a new character is exactly that, new story, starting from nothing, only your game knowledge to guide you. Except maybe your guild and the achievements unlocked listed on your guild card anyway.
The armours are really well done, one of my favourite aspects of the game and also pretty much a key part - kill stuff and make a hat out of them. Most armour sets have three types different from each other slightly or not so slightly, with either a focus on skills or gem slots for the most part. The complexity is pretty great too, better than Dark Souls.
The "belt" part of the armour hides a lot of the fanservice, which is good. Without a belt, most female armour sets definitely fall into fanservice territory, but once the belt is on, it looks like normal and functional armour...for the most part.
I vaguely remember a common combo being a late game Elder Dragon armour top which was massive fan service on females, combined with the Odogaron greaves without a belt equipped, which created a kind of thong effect on females, making them look extremely slutty. I guess it beats the constant swarm of crit-build Odogaron + Eye patch wearing metalords though lol.
It's really neat. You can really see how the various parts of the monsters are incorporated into the sets, and each one is unique and different from each other. Real great.
Plus as you progress through the game, you unlock the ability to recolour your armour pieces, which also gets expanded with more colours as you progress further too - and with it, you can mix and match armour to a degree without looking too ugly by coordinating colours. It's great, there's a really nice degree of customisation there, and not just for builds and skills, but the armour and colour you wear too.
No guy wants to stare at a guys butt/abs/junk etc, of course most guys go for females, luckily for you your gender isnt ugly
wtf is wrong with you nevermind the kids today, its a preference to be a female over a male, simply because we prefer to play as the opposite gender even if we do have a gf/bf, simply because women are hot and males are not, which is yet again a preference.
can't we pick a female and have a girlfriend at the same time?
Day time(U.S), seem balance between male and female toons.
Nice necro.
The pervert want to stare at female butt all day.
The transgender like female armor more.
If you get the impression that they are female, what does it matter what is between their legs? Don't you and can't you still enjoy their company/friendship? (not accusing you. Just conversing.)
And I'm not talking about transgender specifically, but if you are talking to a level headed guy who gives you the impression of another female, then what does it matter?
For example, in highschool I was assumed gay because I didn't hit on girls, I had real conversations with them, and I wasn't a pig. I tend to prefer female friends, but not because of their gender, but because of their behavior. I have plenty of male friends too, but because they are nice.
