Best weapon and armor set for bow for pre iceborne conent?

Currently using:

Ice - Legiana
Fire - Anja
Thunder - Flying Kadachi
Dragon - Hazak

Equipped skills -
Rathalos Mastery - lvl 2
Fire Attack - lvl 3
Stamina Thief - lvl 3
Constitution - lvl 3
Attack boost - lvl 2
Thunder Attack - lvl 1

Any improvement need to made?

Yes a few improvements there. Look up the Jinjinx and tuna meta vidoes. This will start you off.

Your missing affinity and crit damage right off the bat.

Also the most important bow skill is mighty bow.

Then there is Spread and Power shot that you are missing as well.

this here is compilation of the most optimize sets for damage for every weapon before iceborne. checking out the bow section should give you some ideas. i don't know if you want to actually farm kulve for its weapons since master rank weapons will render them pretty much obsolete. current meta builds can still be used in master rank up to a certain point, but after that you will have to switch up to new gear as the old sets are starting to get outclassed significantly. iceborne will come out not long after the fall festival. so keep that in mind.

Someone feel free to correct me, but I'd drop stamina thief for stamina surge or something along those lines. I haven't used stamina thief, but my general impression of it is that it's kinda not great.

stamina thief just increase the exhaust value of attacks that have that status. nothing to do with stamina management for bows. its pretty much completely useless for everything.

works for any of the bows you mentioned. requires no event gears. just swap for the correct elemental boosting skills for the correct bow. in base MHW elemental caps at around 3 or 4 decos for those bows you mentioned. you can swap lavasioth legs for black diablos if you get spread jewel instead of forceshot. mighty bow jewel is essential to any meta bow build since legiana set bonus is not worth it as it takes up too much of your valuable armor slots just for one skill. if you do not have those decos yet, this build will work just fine to get you through just before you actually start farm for stuff post story credit roll.
