Will i get banned for using cheat engine?

You can also change your name in your save file if you're ok with hex and notepad++. I personally see nothing wrong with it, and Capcom atm is unable to ban anyone due to how the game is designed. All they can do is tweak the current engine to try and disable Trainers and Cheatengine modifiers from working like they used to.

Mind adding me to explain how to do that? I have been using notpad++ awhile but when I open the save I still get a bunch of gibberish. :/

I recently changed my ingame name, and it was all good.

Grab cheat engine, load up *the* table, change name, enter then exit settings to save. Quit the game close cheat engine and you're good to go.

If you are concerned, launch steam in offline mode, and only keep cheat engine on your PC for as long as it takes to do what you want.

capcom said that mods are allowed, but if you break your game/save its your buisness,

Using CE won't get you banned, especialy if its for changing name/gender/layered armor
BUT users can still report you if you go online and start one shoting monsters and have 999hunter rank

imo using cheats on mhw is the worst thing to do with this game... it's pointless
