How random is the Fluffy Fairy Poogie Costume?

Even after I finish a quest, the dig areas don't seem to refresh. Do I need to advance to a certain point in the story before it becomes a part of the RNG for the dig areas? I'm really confused as how to random it is.

I don't know I found the pink one, then the fairy costumes on my first and 2nd try. One by the crate of blue ore by the mission board and 1 in the smithy.

I LOLd when I found it, wasn't expecting to get a Poogie costume from random digs.
There's also a Dodogama one. I laughed so hard when I tried it on my Poogie.
Totally wasn't looking nor expecting this costume. Hahaha!

I believe they're guaranteed for the first searches. Pretty in Pink, Dodo-hama, and fairy

After not caring about the pig at all for the longest time I decided to pet it till it loved me again and let it search for items. That Fluffy Fairy costume was the first thing it found.
The second try it found another costume I believe but then it was back items and stuff for the house.

Nah theyr location based and the n first time its the costume on said spot :p

I'm not sure. My friends and I found fairy at melder, post board, house, and the rocks next to the bounty person respectively.
