Some small ones barely even noticeable no large monster ones.
But no only one game had a spider monster.

If you have aracnhophobia chances are you wont even be afraid of them as you guy is wearing armor and using giant oversized weapons and fighting giant monsters.

EDIT:

The yellow one stays on its web. If you run through the web, the spider will disappear, also when you shoot your capture net regardless of you hitting the spider or not,it will disappear.
The black ones will probably not even been seem unless you are hunting for the back ground for the guild card for having all the animals around that can be used as a pet in your house.

Do not forget to point out they are tiny and harmless comapred to everything else in the game.
You cant even make them bite you on purpose.

They still freak me out. People with arachnophobia aren't scared of the size or danger per se, they're scared because it's a spider.

A phobia isn't rational, logic doesn't necessarily factor in to it. For example, I know for a fact that house spiders here aren't dangerous, they're also pretty small. However, I still can't bring myself to be within about a metre of them.

The ones in game are infrequent/avoidable enough that you shouldn't have too much trouble with them, plus there aren't quests to get them

I hate cockroaches. I hate how they look and their color. I find them disgusting. I once felt one walking over me. I wanted to die. I once was going to put on my shoes and one was inside of it. Once, when I got home, I took my shoes out, my socks and saw that I walked around all day with a dead and totally destroyed cockroach on my foot. I really wanted to die and cried.

Man, I hate those insects. I have no problem with spiders, but cockroaches makes my blood boil with hatred.

If I remember correctly. . There is an "Optional" Quest where you have to catch like 3 or 5 of those spiders in the rotten vale to unlock ingredients for the kitchen.
Apart from that, just as mentioned before you will never run into them unless you go looking and pay attention to whats crawling around.

There are not any "monster" onces, only a few here and there in a web, crawling ground.

Have to say .. would be kinda cool if they added a "spider" monster x)

Disappointed none of the spiders are in the game, I loved the insect type monsters added in 4U.

There are plenty of tiny spiders all over the maps though, hence why Spiderweb is a common item you need to farm for traps. My fav thing is the carrion spiders in rotten vale that feast on corpses, there literally all over and you dont realise until you see the swarm scuttling away from your feet.

Don't forget the "Vaporoids", the giant Banana Spider-looking ones in the Ancient Forest.
