there was 2 spider that i know in this game, and you can catch them.

there are some tarantulas you can get as pets in the rotten vale but apart from that no

do you have to go in the rotten vale and are the spiders summoned or do they just appear and are there any spiders you have to fight ? cheers

No they are epiemic(cant remember the correct word) life that you can optionally capture, unless you try to find them yourself you will not see them, they are also very tiny.

And yes you have to go in the rotten vale due to story.

They are only tiny spiders crawling around somewhere to be catched with a tool. Basically interactive decoration, no actual enemies or anything that will attack you.
There are some "bigger" spider webs in some areas though, if that's a factor.

You don't fight any spiders and will probably go through the entire game without ever seeing one. Cobwebs are present too, though.

you do have to go to the rotten vale, but the spiders are small and if you don't go around looking for them you'll probably not notice them, as of now there are no spiders you can fight in MHW
