If using one of the tempAA methods then FXAA.
My personal suggestion is to just use TAA + FXAA and set the game to a resolution higher than your screen (so it will be downscaled). The downscaling make the blur somewhat constant instead of on/off (off when you stand still, on when you move). The game also has low res texture issues here and there (Rathalos texture looks so bad in comparison to the little Jagras), and this helps with that.
Yes the AA in this game is not good, in comparison, Witcher 3 which is older is WAY better with its built in AA.
