seems like the game is forcing the bottleneck for us, it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥
OK tried restarting everything same settings, CPU useage is 78ish-90% variable
GPU 1% 2% VIA NZXT CAM, Task Manager, EVGA precision.
I disabled DX12 API to go back to DX11 and my CPU usage went to a solid 100% but my GPU same settings went up to 20%-24%
Perhaps the same problem has occurred here. Might be worth checking how long it took Capcom to fix the REmake2 issue to get a reliable idea of how long it might take them to fix this one for Monster Hunter. No clue myself, didn't pay much attention to it - but you could probably correlate it from the News / Update posts from the REmake2 page on Steam, etc.
Just did. Still nothing. I'm getting around 100-120 FPS in Astera but CPU usage is still at 100%, GPU at 1-5%.
HAHAHAHHAHA I just booted up Res 2 just because its a good looking game, and I wanted to try to see my GPU % and the same thing happened, Now that you mentioned it, I just remembered both are capcom games.... dang.....
There's also
[CPU]
RenderingThread=ON
EnableDX12=ON
in Config.ini see if turning these on/off does anything
