Temp banned? (no mods installed)
I've been trying different settings trying to get more than 3FPS. I restarted the game about 5 times to apply settings changes, and now on launch I get an error box that directs me to this page: https://support.codefusion.technology/mhw_qfrnwq39/?e=88500006&l=english. The game will not launch at all now.

"Currently your game purchase cannot be re-validated successfully, please wait 24 hours and try again."

I moved my mod folder before I ever launched Iceborne, so I know that's not an issue.

Wild guess but I think this has something to do with their DRM.

Did you buy the game/DLC on steam or did you get a third-party key? I've heard some people losing access to their keys.

Seems like Denuvo.

yeah if it's a 3rd party key from re-sellers, sometimes it's bought with stolen credit-cards and or the game keys get stolen in which case the publisher cancels the key outright

I did purchase from a 3rd party (GreenManGaming), however they only buy keys directly from publishers. No grey market G2A-style shenanigans.

The license is still shown in my account, by the way. A revocation should remove it entirely, as I understand it, so I'm also leaning towards blaming Denuvo.

Curious why buy a recently released game/dlc from a key reseller? is it cheaper?

I only buy from resellers when the game has been out for a long while and is still at full price on steam or other stores.

Yes, they had it for 15% off.

To anyone telling OP he bought a fraud game license from a fraud reseller. No. GreenManGaming is an authorised reseller else he won't even be able to type out the name without being censored

Try typing this and you'll know: G(2)A. Kin(guin). Remember to remove the brackets for those names

It might be a safety program to prevent duplicate burning or a chance at hacking someone's account. Wait the 24 hours and ser what happens.

Just realised that we don't have to wait for 24 hours because I can now launch the game after 6-7 hours.

Denuvo or deaktivated key, if there was a problem with your Payment, I'd guess...

Glad you got it working. I'm still getting the error, unfortunately.

Nah, key is fine. I paid for it months ago anyways, there's no way there's a payment problem.

Authorized re-sellers don't deal in stolen keys.
