yea, i feel like my keyboard controls were jumbled quite a bit just to fit the 'new' controls into it... bleh. 400h of grabbing my quick loadouts from the chest... ends up with me backing out of that menu over and over since my loadout are no longer on ESC

You can't the problem is that they bound the firing with Guard / special weapon action that I had on CTRL. so now I have to put that key on LMB (that I will not do) or always play with ctrl to shot the slingshot while aiming. The keybind for firing the slingshot I had in pre Iceborne is simply undoable now because they bound 3 different things in 1 button.

Before Iceborne I had guard / special action on ctrl and firing the slingshot on LMB. Now it is simply impossible to bind it that way.

Yeah I have slinger aim set to my rear mouse thumb button and guard/special set to the forward one. Now I have to aim the slinger and shoot it with the same thumb somehow. Thanks Capcom!

I'll have to bind an extra aim slinger button to my keyboard until they fix this ♥♥♥♥.

I thought something was off when I couldn't fire the slinger ammo with left click.

My special action was left shift/forward thumb mouse button. Guess now I have to press C / V to aim and shift or thumb button to fire.

Maybe I am gonna change to middle mouse button hold or toggle to aim instead.

They need to split the special weapon action and the slinger fire. This is a port of a console game to a PC game so I was kinda of expecting this kind of ♥♥♥♥. But I also expect a patch.

its annoying because before, you couldn't use the slinger with a weapon drawn, so it would just default to LMB, which worked just fine for me.

Ay, sorry to revive a super old thread, but for anyone with the same problem as me, the slinger controls are in MELEE not RANGED! I was wondering why the hell I couldn't set them lol, I don't have a 5 button mouse anymore... The menus are soooo confusing in this game. Weird that there doesn't seem to be an option to left click to shoot, that would be so much better. If i need to cancel shooting to melee ill just let go of the aim button smh lol
