Will the Iceborne bundle (World + Iceborne) discount if you already have the main game?
My friend bought game like last week, he didn't know if he would like it or not thus he didn't wait for Iceborne. Turns out he did like the game. Would the bundle come with some kind of discount as opposed to paying full price, or should he attempt a refund?

This doesn't make sense. Why can't he just keep the base game and buy Iceborne separately? Why does he have to buy the bundle when he already has the base game?

And is this "friend" you?

No, it's not, check my library I already own Iceborne.

He wants to get it cheaper, that's the only reason. He hasn't broken past two weeks yet so he should be able to refund.

Edit: I realise Iceborne doesn't show in my library, so here.

If I were to sell this bundle to your friend who already owns the base game, I would sell it at the price of the dlc. It doesn't make any sense for your friend to get the dlc at a cheaper price than those who own the base game and pre-order the dlc.

TBH I'm not even sure whether those who own the base game can purchase the master edition or not.

If you own MHW, then IB costs 40

Master Edition will be MHW + IB and will be 60.

The two week is for when he's not playing the game, when playing pass 2h you can't get refund unless you have very valid reason

Oh. But has he played more than 2 hours? If so, he won;t be able to refund it.

I was just wondering, because other games do allow something like this.

This is true yes, but steam makes some exceptions. I have refunded something that I've played for little over 2 hours and owned for over 2 years. I'm just kinda hoping on this one.
