farming for warrior / hero weapon augment stones

which one would you say is the best one to solo? vs group?

group tends to lean towards vaal. but IMO i was thinking about soloing kirin. BUT hear me out, i already have a dedicated lance set / stun/thunder resist setup to the point where its 100% foolproof.

i've been on ~11 or 12 tempered elder hunts now and i've gotten one, for a lance. but i never planned on using a t8 lance (it was hero augment) and now i need the "weaker" one. which is lame....

now im back to 13/14 odds IF one drops.

so is this it? tempered elder x 100 runs before i get my FIRST augmented weapon of choice?

I'd honestly say HR 30 Legiana's would be the best to brute force those. Group of likeminded fellows, collect 6 Legiana tracks, dung pod Bazelgeuse, trap Legiana to death. Takes about 4 minutes at most. One guy designated as the trapper, deploys Affinity booster then pitfall trap, crafts another pitfall, deploys as soon as Legiana gets out, crafts another one, deploys that again as soon as she gets out etc.

Beat on Legiana a bit until almost dead then use a stun trap to capture - or just murder.

Rinse and repeat, soon have all the streamstones you could ever want or need. The hardest part is finding a group, and also collecting a good bunch of Legiana investigations (but with four people all grabbing the tracks + breaking Legianas parts, investigations should be spawning pretty frequently)

Well, just know that you can get both Warrior and Hero Streamstones from Tier 2 Tempered hunts as well (things that require HR 30+). I don't know if this is a bug, as all the stuff I've seen around says it should be 3% chance of Warrior 0% Chance of Hero on T2, and like 16% Warrior 3% Hero on T3 (elder dragons). That being said, I've gotten like 6 Heros and 1 Warrior Streamstone from farming Tempered Uragaan,and yeah, it bugs me, because after the first appropriate streamstone (blade in my case cause DB), I really just want Warriors.

Anyway, as for what to farm, that is completely up to you, or your group. I generally don't mind Kirin, but that can go wrong, especially as melee (which is why I Bow Kirin), however Vaal Hazak is basically free as long as you don't take the line attack to the face.

Same with T2 hunts, hunt what you are comfortable fighting. In a party Bazelgeuse (Bagel) is super free generally, but solo he can just wreck you with constant assaults. I personally like fighting Uragaan but then I'm a DB main, so it's just super fun constantly ripping down his spine.

In the end, fight what you want, and pray you get what you want.

Legi is probably the fastest. Odogoran can also be quick if you pitfall him in a group. For elders it really depends on your solo/group setup.
