Is it just me or is the Anjanath the scariest monster in the game? Nothing makes me say oh ♥♥♥♥ like an Anjanath bursting into the middle of a fight in ancient forest.

Kushala is the one that frustrates me just because I run with a hammer most of the time and I can hardly ever get close enough to smack without a tornado in my face. Doesn't help when the tempered ones get immune to flash pods.

I'm not talking so much about difficulty, but just in appearance and presence, dunno if the Anjanath is scary to me because it's "real" to an extent, but it just terrifies me more than any other monster lol.

He's the most deformed monster in the game. It's like a kid designed him or something. Weird wings, weird nosebone, weird spike-filled tail, weird everything. Almost like a Platypus of the Monster Hunter world.

He scared me a while ago on the PS4 when I thought I was safe and he crawled through this tiny tunnel to get me.

I think the scariest for me is probably Lavasioth. There's something about the noise it makes when it fires its magma cannon that I don't like.

I haven't encountered every monster yet, but yeah I agree. Especially when he starts flaming and spitting... Though I'd like to think I am a better hunter now, I still get flash backs from getting one hit'ed by him as a beginner.

Also doesn't matter where you are, he will clip through everything and drop kick you to oblivion XD
