What is deepfreeze?
You go... back? It's not your computer?
Save files are stored locally on your own computer. They are not saved on a cloud.
people, it exists. stop giving suggestions to his life when you could just tell him about the cloud saves.
Well you can't play Monster Hunter if the computer you play on keeps getting reset.
I advise you to see if you can refund.
And you got all the other stuff?
Minimum requirements state an I5-4460, 3.60Ghz Intel Core.
Or AMD FX 6300 you feel better with AMD.
here is my build as an example (though it'll change for GPU, i've saved up and am going to try and get ahold of the latest and greatest 2080ti)
CPU: 7700k i7 4.2ghz (4.5 turbo)
RAM: 16GB DDR4
GPU: EVGA nVidia 980ti (though a 1060GTX or 1070GTX would have about as much power overall.)
Storage, if your mother board you get with this has multiple storage slots for M.2 form SSD, use these. i have a 256GB M.2 PCI-e from samsung for my Operating System and other startup program files, then a 1TB of the same type for all games that have heavy load times, for monster hunter world i do not see load screens for more than 1 second. (except in multiplayer, but thats server sync networking stuff, no control of that client side.
oh, and if your not comfortable with it dont worry about this part, but i suggest buying atleast a pre built Liquid cooling system for your CPU. it makes a lot of a difference in performance for gaming and is fairly easy to maintain. but as is the risk if you cut a hose while its in your computer it could damage something or just keep you fro using your PC for a little while till it dries.
bring a usb stick and back it up to there. restore the files before next session.
When you exit Mh World, do not close steam immediately, wait for the the file sync with the Steam Cloud, there will be an indication beside Monster Hunter world on your game list here in steam, from Running it'll change to Syncing once you close the game, let that finish for a few seconds and voila, your save file is uploaded to the steam cloud and you'll be able to use it again on another computer once you login again, just let it sync everytime you close and you'll be fine~
I've been switching from my laptop to the desktop all the time and everything is uploaded to the steam cloud so my file is always updated everytime even when the desktop delete my files.
what i dont get is the statement about his past time not peeking into his personal life. if someone near you thinks its so wrong to have a PC of your own that person or group might not be worth being near anymore.
From what I've heard about South East Asia, there's a lot of traditional and religious views in families. It's not always as simple as it appears.
