PSA: How do deal with Effluvium in the lower areas of Rotten Vale
Hopefully this will be helpful for those trying to deal with the Effluvium, yellow gases, in the lower areas.

The following can help prevent or stop it.

1. Torch stones. Pick these up, these are littered thoughout Effluvium covered areas, and fire it at the ground. It'll make a small radius air pocket that'll last between 1-2 minutes.

2. Equip any mantle. Any mantle will cover your mouth, thus stopping you from breathing in the Effluvium.

3. Effluvial Expert skill. This skill can be obtain from the following: Clearmind Charm (High rank late game charm), Hornetaur Chest slot (Low rank, High rank Alpha & Beta versions as well), & Girros Coil (Low Rank, High Rank Alpha & Beta Versions).

Yeah I just learned about it today. Wondering why I wasn't taking ticking hp damage while I was farming girros. Then I noticed the devs used logic when mantles cover your mouth.

PSA: Make a guide, a really big one, with everything in it, instead of the daily brain drain of PSA threads that get buried quicker than they took to make

Unfortunately, said logic doesn't transfer over to the Wiggler Head.

Hey now, its OP as it is. We'll let it slide for now.
4. Lure offensive creature into less effluvium-infested areas using any projectile of your choice.

4.a A certain creature will be confused when performing procedure 4 thus earning you free hits, because the fight is supposed to start in it's area. Go explore hunters!

Sadly only works if they have red eye icon. Yellow icon they'll follow you to the edge of the area then walk back to the original centeral area.
