Everything was managable solo until Slave Knight Gale's wheezing Hell hound Odogaron! My god is this monster hard!!! This is the only fight where I ran out of EVERY consumalbe. God forbid he inflicts bleed, even with 5 Jerky. I got his tail. Don' see how I'm going to kill him with a charge axe. Might have to cheese him with Dual Blades...... ugh.

oh and don't spam flash on him cuz he had very tiny eyes so the flash doesn't very effective for him and waste of resource

He is quite hard at the beginning because of how fast it attacks, but you'll get the hang of it. The first time I fought it it fainted me in like 20 seconds and after that I got quite used to his patterns and movements.

Did you know you can cheese him with a Greatsword?

Simply dodge his attacks and hit him.

In all seriousness, you're probably overextending your attacks. Know when to stop attacking, heck maybe even keep it as a single attack and wait for the next moment.

Traps, both shock and pitfall, are usefull to limit movement.

In an area filled with cliffs, go spam the jumping attack.

Lure it to other monsters and let them fight.

See if there are is better equipment and forge those.

He usually attacks by pattern of three attacks, then downtime, three attacks, downtime. Once you figure that out he's pretty easy, especially since he is quickly staggered in solo when hitting his front legs or head.

Paralyze and have lots of evasion skills. Believe it or not but I solo's that sucker for 90% of the hunt until someone saw my SOS Flare...but man oh man is he a challenge for practicing dodging his attacks. Seriously, bring lots of jerky and Sushifish Sclaes with you for the bleeding blight and use your Health Booster.

when he started moving really fast like a spastic, i had no hope of landing hits with the hammer, so i hung back, dodged his attacks, and when he exited rage mode, he sat there, drooling and breathing heavy for a solid 2 hammer combo's worth of attacks.

wait for him to tire out when he's doing repeated 15 hit combo spam, and never let him go eat or rest. even in his base he'll gas out fast, but watch out when he climbs the turnstiles =p

Odogaron is resistant to Dragon element.
Weak to Ice.

Odogaron is fast and aggressive, but it does take a break after a maximum of three attacks.
Dodge all three, then punish.

he is fast one i know i hate him because im hammer user
when odogaron jump to back of your character i think it's better to dodge left/right just incase he want to back attack you mostly i seen people getting hit from that move

But he actually easy with cb, you can use axe swing for taking him down

He was quite a challenge when I met him for the first time. Now I have a powerful frost element glaive and a high level Cancadaman and this guy became a total pushover. It's really important to dodge his attacks especially when he's enraged. The only thing that drives me crazy about him is how many of his claws I still need to upgrade all my weapons...
