Monster Bone+

Seriously, how rare is this?

I have every mat needed to finish off my Rathalos armor..except ONE Monster Bone+
I've spent days doing optionals, picking up bone piles, and I've even done a few story missions, but I cannot get just one. Damn. Bone. :(

You have to kill Level 5 Monsters to get Monster Bone+ if im not mistaken

Monster Bone + drop from HR monsters. I can't remember getting one from a bone pile.

Read here on how to obtain All kinds of bones. Including ancient and coral bones.

Do investigations for Diablos, Odogaren etc. The Apex monsters, not bone piles.

Monster bone+ is a low rank material, it drops off rathalos, legiana, and I think odogaron. it can be kinda a pain in the ass to get at first, but eventually you'll have way more than you'll ever need.

not rare. should drop if you murder a monster. from the wiki,

HR - great jagras, tzi tzi ya ku (flashy velociraptor), kulu ya ku (big dodo), great girros

LR - odogaron,diablos, rathalos, legiana

quite a few optional quests will have it as a 30% chance reward. i'll list a few

say cheese
pukey pukey ambush
a crown of mud and ange
invader in the waste
keep your hands to yourself
loop the paolumu
a tingling taste

do or redo those, if you don't have it within 3 quests, your RNG just hates ya! lol
