note the builds are meant for end game which...the pure Attacking build is completely hard to even get so unless god is on your side with 4 attacking gems...use the first one.
you can even trade recovering for one attacking gem to bring it to level 5. the first one build is design to give good damage with pretty good safety net.
Support SNS wide range build
end game stuff make sure to finish all optinals to unlock comission armor
496 Defense go to canteen to get DEF L to make it 526 defense
or use armor skin to go past 500 def. and cateen to get ELemental L resist
Speed eating - eats / drink items faster
Wide range max - self explanatory
item prolonger - extends duration of buffs like admant seed for example
Free Meal - chance not to consume item / drink for free
Flinch - dual blades and longswords gives me cancer when they fight near me
Guard up - blocks ubblockable .i have this just in case i dont make it to flash temper monster like teo supernova to save somone if they cant do the superman dive
protection - reduce damage
mushroom mancer - blue shrooms for heals like regular potions . toadtools for natural healings
augments on my sns health and decorations. 3rd augment will to get it to +25 defence
barroth club III gives me 2 decoration slot and + defence
Using armour with free element is good too because the free element weapons are often the best of that element or status.

Some of thise gems or pieces of armour can be mixed or matched to your liking. I often use a free element gem with another piece of free element armour.

I don't use that though because you basically have to repeat on attack over and over to do good dps it's boring...
Every weapon is viable.
SnS is about versatility more than anything, so I wouldn't worry about DPS if you also want to support.
If you want to try something mixed, I would get max mushroommancer with some degree of wide-range, Mushroomancer and wide range is crazy good for support. And then focus on elementless damage and critical hits because balancing support and elemental damage would be a nightmare. The Barroth 3 SnS with an elementless gem does riduclous raw damage. I'd aim for something along those lines. You'd probably need some good gems to make it viable though.
yes it is. i have a buddy who specializes HH support, and regularly has the highest dps of the squad.
With SnS, you have to take up skill slots...
Also, using the DPS meter, then...? :-P
