Gajalaka quest doesn't work
After some searching I gave up and checked how to do it on the internet, but for me the prompt to enter their lair simply doesn't appear, anybody here with the same issue?

You have to sneak into the lair. I flashed them and ran, but you can ghillie I guess.

Ghillie works for sure, just walk up to it.

I did it exactly like in a video I've found, they didn't aggro me and I was standing next to the door. Next time I'll try brining my cat with me, but that doesn't make much sense for a sneaking mission.

If you sneak, cat sneaks.
No cat is whats failing you. You need your cat to translate the Gajalaka language for you.

You need your palico with you.

Thought so, thanks. It's just odd how in every other sneaking mission you have to leave the cat behind for it not to scare away monsters

Also, since we're at it, can I make time go by faster so I don'T just sit around until it's nighttime?

I've never had to leave my cat at home. Which missions do you mean?

There really aren'T any stealth missions in this game, I was thinking of the animal capturing

What does your Palico have to do with that? If you sneak, your Palico is sneaking. If you're spotted by a critter, it runs. You Palico isn't the thing scaring stuff off. lol

This. Your palico can run right up to a critter and nothing will happen. Same with party members, for that matter, as critters are seed-based, client-side and only aware of you. This can actually be useful in multiplayer: "Hey guys in lobby, I have Downy Crake in my mission in area #. Come get yours, then help me curbstomp this poor Rasta Lizard!"

Sneak at night into their lair, you have to wear a ghilie and before you enter the cave you have to talk to the old man (researcher). Thats all what the guide I found told me and I successfully completed the quest. o/
