And that is one of the easier ones to see coming.
You can assume every Monster in HR and beyond has at least 1 of these if not more.
You should be using a full set of HR armor and you shoudl really be keeping them at or near max upgrade level as well.
You can also look into eating for defence and using armor skin potions, armor charms and so on.
Honestly thats how I learn new monsters.
Stack as many defensive options as I can and then take it slow.
Literally why I'm fighting this guy lol
It's one of his power attacks so it can hurt, especially if you haven't upgraded your armor in a while. Most bosses have a power attack like this that will really hurt if you are not careful.
That's you're problem, 134 is lowwwwww. I think I had around 180 when I started HR and even the most basic of HR sets like bone give around 160 unupgraded, and a basic kulu set gives around 220?
Up your DEF or L2Dodge.
Try making some bone armor if you're having too much trouble with him. Ussualy its easier to craft and also it offers some great def(and resist) for HR.
> spam like end of the world for non tempered mob
Craft HR bone armor. Good damage buff, health buff, no weaknesses to any element. Good armor for progression though story content.
