ROOM CUSTOMIZATION HELP

Hello, I don't know how to customize room,there should an option called "room customization" but that option is nowhere in my list when I speak to the Attendant? Please help a noob. I am really missing something but what??

Only the room you get in Iceborne can be. If you're still in base game, then those rooms can't be edited.

To clarify, the only customization in the Astera (non-Iceborne) rooms is placing pets around based on the size of the room. When you get Iceborne the Iceborne room is the one that is customizable with floors, lighting, decorations, etc....
