MR 99 Quest not showing?

Hey what gives, I reached MR 99 and I did not get the quest to fight Ruiner Nergigante. Am I missing something?

From what I know the Guiding Lands must have a total level of at least 10 (12 after the Rajang update)

Yeah i talked to him but he just says some random stuff and did not give me a quest

as far as i know this only happens when you use trainers

I looked it up online and it just says the quest automatically unlocks when you reach MR 99, maybe it glitched or something.

I mean, you were supposed to be doing GL stuff to get to MR99

Update: Yeah apparently i have to had my guiding lands set to certain levels before the MR 99 quest unlocks. idk why the game didn't tell me but whatever I have the quest, thanks for the help.
