ERR 12 graphics device crashed

so basically i got this notification while playing and my graphics driver is already updated. how can i fix this?

Reinstall your drivers, or roll them back.

I installed new drivers before Iceborne dropped, and I got this crash about three times across 100 hours. Then one day it happened during a Namielle fight and whenever I tried booting the game afterwards, I'd just crash out because of the error.

So I reinstalled them again and the issue went away, and hasn't resurfaced yet. I guess my drivers were just corrupt or something.

Happens sometimes. Seems to be most common when fighting Velkhana.

Change your display type to "fullscreen no hdr" or something like this, my game stopped crashing ever since (that was a couple month ago). Granted I didn't play iceborne extensively yet, so i don't know if it still works.

Haven't found a fix, it's a common crash on my end. Happens a few hours after launching the game, doesn't matter if I actually play it or just leave my character idle in seliana.

hits everyone differently it seems like.
I only got it 3 times in about 100ish hours so far.
Every time it was while i was idling in base.
Seems like a coding bug.

Got this too just as the Steamworks completed the red gauge. Reinstalled drivers, hopefully that'll work
