How to unlock astral layered armor ?

What quest to unlock the layered armor ?
My friend told me need VIP ticket but what quest to obtain that

VIP tickets are a random reward after doing master rank quests, apparently. I got one from doing a tempered jyuratodus capture investigation on my own.

The astral armor boosts the drop rate.

Any event quest as far as my experience goes.

you get the VIP tickets by doing MR event quest or helping others in LR/HR, but if you do all the daily bounties for today and make the new armor and farm the 2nd event quest (start camp 15 go out the cave and to the left, make sure to have the botany skill to speed it up)

I got a VIP gratitude ticket from just a normal master rank investigation, so I'm guessing any master rank quest will drop them.

I did a bunch of quests earlier to clear all the limited bounties for today.
But no VIP tickets. :/

I don't think Botany applies to stuff like the Frozen Foliage. That's the Geology charm, I think. Might have to check for myself though.

Edit: Okay, Botany DOES increase how many Icebloom you get in a gather but only one counts towards quest completion. Geology 3 grants an extra gather for Frozen Foliage and such.

The quest is on a per gather basis, not total

Edit 2: Looks like I was wrong. I guess the higher value Icebloom doesn't count towards completion. Combine Botany and Geology and you can get it done in two Frozen Foliages and come out with like 1500 points per run.

PSA - I got a VIP ticket after hunting a tempered zinogre in my guiding lands. Can confirm that they're not just from quests.

i've done that mission like 9 times now and have yet to get a single vip ticket
