Live damage meter?

I was thinking of using a mod to show the damage between players, just to see my damage output and was thinking of using the Live Damage Meter on Nexusmods, but have a few questions..

Does it still work? If not which one does?
Does it work for both world and iceborne?
Is it actually allowed, do people get banned for using it?

I wouldn't expect many mods to work quite yet, but I just gotta ask, why do you care about damage vs others?

I'd imagine most would work as Iceborne has been out for awhile. You would have to look for one that says it will work for Iceborne I'd imagine. No you won't get banned for using it.

Yah , but don't brag about your damage to other player either . May be someone was busy trying to keep you alive .

I want to see my damage in comparison to others to show I am being carried/pulling my weight/carrying. If I see my dps is low then I know I gotta improve myself

I understand, I have been carried and saved by support types many times and wouldn’t neglect their contributions

I mean, unless you or a teammate get the damage dealer hunter highlight, you should be fine.

sounds good, i think knowing how players are doing amongst each other is a good thing, and can inspire good competition, and have folks help other in terms of giving advice on how to up dps or loadouts. It can also weed out potential cheaters. dont worry about bans, this wont do that.

yes and no. if I co-op with a specific person, we're at the same point story-wise and someone consistantly makes damage dealer, that person is carrying their teammate and at that point it can become annoying.

I know I do that, because good memes for me when I fail miserably, and encourage me to do even more stupid thing if I didn't. I love doing suicidal and stupid things, you can't stop me.
