Elemental IG question
I've heard prioritizing raw and then element was best from multiple people, but I've never heard of you're supposed to slot in elemental up skills or use crit ele or what. What sort of build should I be going for? Right now I'm doing 3 pc Teo and 2 pc Velk and using whatever looks coolest in each element and trying to get ele +6 for the respective element.

When going for crit element slotting in elemental attack is good, but usually you'd go full raw with no elemental decos but instead augment the weapon for element as much as possilbe. The base element on a glaive you get is a good damage increase, but pushing it mostly results in 1-2 damage per hit extra, depending on hitzones.
Are you already at/spoiled about the endgame content? Because there's some niche elemental sets happening there.

I'm not at end-game yet, and I know about all the monsters if that's what you mean by spoiled, just not really how to unlock them all beyond "do guiding lands." I'm at the quest for the story final monster. Is there a resource I can reference about builds and stuff?

For IG, both playstyles are viable, you just need to properly support them with armor skills. In general: raw will do really well in every single fight, elemental will outsine raw in some matchups, but be worse in others.

i personally don't bother, since the benefit is not big enough to spend your time making different elemental insect glaives and builds for themn, when Raw requires way less work and is good in every situation.

I usually end up just doing raw builds later, but I like having reasons to grind and use various weapons during story and early endgame. Might just forget that for this, tho, I found a vid and it looks like endgame elemental IG builds are functionally identical to raw ones, skill wise, which is sort of a buzz kill tbh. Might as well just go full raw at that point, but I'm trying to do something different.

You can still go True crit element for some meme sets, but your sharpness will vanish. I'm currently also not really matching element because only my Glav and Nami IG have health augment lol.

what is the best endgame IG for a critical build ? Shara ? Acidic Glav ? (I don't know yet for the endgame guiding lands tigrex and Ruiner Nerg IG, are those good too ?)

Shara is the best if you keep up purple, all the Tigrex weapons are junk sadly.

yes but acidic glavenus has more raw damages, so it is better for a crit build no ? And with the teostra set, no worries about the sharpness

Acid Glav is IB's equivalent of Diablos IG. Unusable because you'll never manage to keep up 10 hits of purple. Keep in mind that you only have 30% from WEX until you weaken a spot, weakening makes you lose sharpness, you'll hit non-weakspots etc. Shara is just plain better and the damage difference isn't even that big. Shara also gets Spirit and Strength boost which is insanely good.
