Diablos harder than elder dragons!?
It amazes me how many players just don't know how to hunt against this fellow. He severly punishes hunters who think they can fight him with weapons with no block mechanics. Learn to tech against this beast. Sincerely, a disheartened lance user.

Diablos is easy as ♥♥♥♥ he doesn't do a lot of damage and on top of that you can dodge all his ♥♥♥♥ with faceplants sorry diving.

Sorry you can fight him without blocking easily like this is the biggest troll post I've ever seen.

You don't need block mechanics to beat Diablos. I go into Regular/Black/Tempered Diablos fights with bows and I still don't have any trouble. All you need to do is know how to fight Diablos.

Regular diablos no, Ill foresight slash it to death in 3 minutes...

Black Diablos's moves are very against my Longsword playstyle (Parry everything to death) by delaying its attacks when I do foresight slash so I struggle with it far more than any elder dragon cuz of that (Kushala is my worst ELDER DRAGON FIGHT that takes me about 10-15 minutes, the rest are 3-8 mins)

This is what I do when I fight black diablos with LS. When it buried itself into underground. I didn't sheath my weapon and wait when it come near me then roll. If nothing happen then after that use foresight slash immediately.

Oh yeah, the problem is your positioning, the creatures path is just so massive that it is difficult to get out of the way if you commit... I mainly play SnS, Lance, and Glaive.. But I can see him being a pain in the butt for weapons like Hammer and Switch Axe.

It's really not a pain for SA. Rolling behind him when he telegraphs the charge is the easiest way to avoid it. Evade extend makes dodging him a joke.

most people fall for the double/triple charge, similarly to what raths can do.
But obviously no he isn't any harder than a great jagras

The problem is that Lance and GL trivialize him, but people don't want to switch from their "main" weapon to learn something new. So randoms end up dropping like flies to diablos because they're stubborn and think they can kill diablos with a longsword or bow just because their favorite speedrunner can.

In my opinion, he's by far the easiest t2 tempered with a shield. Sub 3 mins easily with gunlance.

Lance trivializes everything. It's the easiest weapon in the game.
