Kulve Taroth Build?
I tried to whip something up based on what I read online. Lemme know if what I whipped up is trash. I could make some new bowguns with a little farming, but I like the idea of using my reliable Teo one.

One thing your build has going for it that is going to be very usefull is partbreaker, considering that is kinda the point of the hunt

On the other hand you got a lot of throw-away skills on that set. If I was you I would replace the following skills with something else:

-thunder resistance (kulve is a fire monster)
-honey hunter (you are not going to be collecting honey during the hunt)
-Pro transporter (though usefull for loading canons you will not be using them during the later stages of the fight, and most canon balls are close to their canons)
-scenthunt (though initially usefull to quickly find kulve, after a few hunts it becomes redundant)

I'd say besides that the build doesn't seem that bad for kulve.

Non-elemental is doing nothing for that gun. No reason to keep it.

I looked it up on the wiki and it doesn't seem to actually cause blast blight, so non-elemental is usefull.

If the gun can fire elemental ammo, non-elemental doesn't work with it.

The only currently available heavy guns that benefit from non-elemental are diablos, bone, iron, jagras and tzitzi

Thanks for the input, I thought having Transporter would've been useful for the cannons, but if it's close then yeah it's a throwaway, and the honey hunter was just from the same charm that came for transporter.

I got scent from a deco so guess I'll toss it when I don't need it anymore.

Really? I thought it applies as long as you don't use the actual elemental ammo, guess I should do some testing.

You can actually SEE the effect of the gem by looking at your attack stat. If your attack doesn't go up when you equip the deco, it doesn't work.

Ah ♥♥♥♥ you're right. I should've payed more attention, stuck at 293 with it on and off.

Unfortunately, none of the heavy guns it works with seem to be worth the time because of bad ammo types or just crap attack power.

https://i.imgur.com/RAd5BiY.png is THE build for optimal dps.
Blazooka works great with Non-Elemental Boost, but you have to be aware you'll be using almost exclusively wyvern ammo and wyvernsnipe.

btw your set has 3 skills that will only be useful in the first part, 2 that will be useful in the three following parts and the rest that is simply useless. You're better off just making a separate set with Pro Transporter, Bombardier and Heavy Artillery for the first stage and another set with Partbreaker for the actual fight. Scenthound won't really help at all if you plan on just collecting tracks; what you want is Scoutfly Range Up instead.

Here are two builds you can make for Kulve, one with LBG exclusively for stage one and the other one with HBG for the rest of the fight:

Yeah, I don't know much about the stages, I essentially just threw crap together. But I have build with 7 Attack - 4 Critical Eye - 3 Weakness Exploit that I was planning to switch to on the final stage after all the feedback I've gotten. Thanks for the videos too, I'll have to take a look at them when I get the chance.

WE is almost useless on kulve.

Well damn it, I don't have many good decorations. Damn RNG.
replace thunder resis with thunder attack increase and you'll be good but you can swap it out after the coats broken.
