I seriously think HR harvest set is best armor set in game

I've been using harvest armor since i got the ability to equip it and i was able to solo every elder dragon solo with ease. I've also crafted some of the rarity 8 armor sets but i keep going back to harvest every time.

I know it lacks some of the set effects of rarity 7-8 armor, but its the only set with no negative status effect stats as well as 2 gemslots. Most of the 8 rarity armor only has 1 gemslot.

I am able to equip so many perks/decorations with the HR harvest set (including size2 gems) i just cant find any rarity8 set that offers me better overall stats in general.

HR harvest set is just the best all-around armor in MHW imo

When fighting kirin for the first time solo after reading another users post that he enjoyed the game up until the "impossible" kirin fight. All i did was equip 3 thunder-res gems into my HR harvest set and i was able to beat her with ease. And i mean that. it was just as easy as any other monster

Is it true that comission only has 3 total gemslots for the entire set? https://monsterhunterworld.wiki.fextralife.com/Commission+Alpha+Armor+Set

If thats true id still use harvest tbh

That's the alpha set. Commission is also trash.

Beta has 1x lv1 and 4x lvl 2, alongside tool spec 1, wr2, blindsider 1, mushroomancer 1, and stealth 2

Guild Cross is way better than harvest ever will be though

That's the alpha set. Commission is also trash.

Guild Cross doesn't need RCTs, it needs arena coins and high commendations, both accessible from HR1 and HR13 respectively

This is not correct to get ace coin you need arena quest n°8/9 which is unlocked only after xeno jiva fight.



The skill Anti miasma rank 2 is very strong, i barely get 1 debuff per vaal fight with it.

i agree, i only had anti miasma 2 (my palico also had the deviljo head weapon which has high elderseal) and i did not get my hp halved a single time on my second fight

If you want the best. Going for full armor sets is the wrong way to go about it. Mixed sets depending on the weapon you are using give the best results. You can play as you like, but you shouldn't be falsely claiming it's the best for anything else but your own enjoyment.
