Does the horn maestro skill also extend the song duration for teammates even if the player with the hunting horn is the only one that has it equiped?

yes, it will extend the duration to all party members. It's even effect your kitty too.

not exactly OP as you think. Youd do fine without Horn Maestro tbh, save your slot. If Horn Maestro existed in 2nd gen it would have seen more usage, but not since gen 3

It's useful in giving you more time to extend your songs since replaying the basic song will also extend the encore effect without needing to play the encore so long as you never let it fully run out. Still, you can do well without the skill if you can manage your durations.

i like it cuz i dont give a damn about the songs, only the self improvement
the bulk of my damage comes from the Note 1 + Note 1 > Performance > Roll to cancel performance > Repeat

the way to think about HM skill is that, it means your maintaining your buffs a bit less and focusing on damage more. that said, its a balanced part of this hunting horn armor set! its super easy to tack on to any armor set with a spare slot.
