Gold Crown Large Kirin

So, I'm trying to get all the gold crowns and Kirin is on the list. A bunch of different crown seekers made guides saying that my best chances are on [Bronze-Silver-Gold] and [Silver-Silver-Gold] and [Silver-Gold-Gold] investigations, and so far that has been almost the case. On a BSG and a SSG investigation I've gotten silver crowns for Kirin, but nothing higher, even though whilst measuring it seems like I've got a gold.

So question is, should I delete all but 1 of the other investigations that aren't BSG,SSG,or SGG? Obviously I keep one to farm for more investigations, but I should primarily focus my efforts on BSG, SSG, and SGG investigations. Right?

Those were never proven anyway, so might as well keep the other ones for more chances. I forgot where I got one since I stopped bothering to check the reward boxes.

It's easier to use the Tailraider Safari to farm Kirin investigations rather than pick up tracks. Just make sure to choose Coral Highlands and pick the option with a Kirin logo on it. Not sure if you can get Kirin Investigations even without a Kirin on the route, but yeah.

Try checking Tempered Kirin... the one with a 1 cart lol. I found mine in that. It wasnt an Easy fight.
I opened like 100+ kirin SG investigations only miniature came out. Opened 1 tempered investigation and there it was.

can i get them in low rank also, or only high rank for crowns?

People say you can get them in low rank but the chances are lower. I honestly don't remember what crowns I got in low rank if any and at that point didn't even pay attention to those.
I wonder if anyone got any crowns from the low rank double kirin event quest.

Gold Biggest Kirin // i farming a lot (150+ kills Temp./HR/LR) and i finally got from HR 1 silver and 1 gold (only 2 reward) now i got 100% GL with ur 100%

Ive gotten the majority of my elder dragon Large Crowns from tempered bounties. I remember Kirin especially, since I actually enjoy killing him being a hammer user mainly.

Why don't you just save scum for same investigation to save your self the time searching for new Kirin investigation ?

I dunno how to save scum, and I don't really like doing that either. Besides, it really only takes like 10 minutes of following Kirin to rack up a bunch of investigations so it's no big deal for me.

All I can tell you is that we tried BBGG and SSS investigations for about 50 times in a row to get a gold crown Kushala without any success, while those with only silver+gold (any combination of the two) allowed us to get exceptionally sized monster in only a couple tries.
It could still be total RNG, but that's how our experience went.
