Tzitzi-Ya-Ku Giant Gold Crown

Does anyone have a quest that has a higher chance on getting a giant gold crown?

There are some event quests with higher chances at Gold/Tiny crowns but i think it's just a select few. The current 5-monster quest is an example, I got my Gold crown tobi kadachi yesterday like that.
Otherwise, it's down to RNG and it seems getting a gold crown spawn is a lot more rare in MHW compared to previous installments.

Deep Green Blues is active atm if you need giant/ mini crowns for Great Jagras, Pukei Pukei, Tobi-Kadachi, Anjanath and Rathalos.

Wildspire Bolero starts 31/08 if you need Kulu-Ya-Ku, Barroth, Jyuratodus, Rathian and Diablos.

Coral Waltz is the event you need for Tzitzi-Ya-Ku as well as Paolumu, Pink Rathian and Legiana. No date as when it will start though so far.

The only quest atm that is better crown chance is the all mons in af event quests. I think next week is Wildspire, I assume then is Coral. I am not to sure thou.

I think your best bet is that x2 tzi tzi quest that you get from the cats in Coral.

Its all RNG, and I got some records updated from Tzi Tzi when I was researching him in that quest.

Some small tips for farming crowns without event quests:

1) INVESTIGATIONS. Do not do quests, do not do expeditions. Always do Investigations.

2) HIGH RANK ONLY. You can actually get gold crowns in Low Rank, but the chance is lower, and that far offsets the quicker kill times.

3) The more reward boxes for your Investigation, the better. A quest with 2 gold / 2 silver reward boxes is perfect.

4) Other difficulty modifiers may have an impact. The probability suggests this heavily, but I've not seen any hard stats so I can't promise you anything - either way, investigations that were capped to 2 players and 1 faint seem to have the best chances for crowns.

5) Supposedly, investigations with 15 minute timers are the best for small crowns, and 50 minute timers are the best for large crowns. This is a very commonly parroted fact, and I feel like it matches up with my experience, so I believe it - but again, there's no actual stats backing this up. Take it for what you will.
